Hazelnut bliss balls (Gluten free, dairy free and so easy!)

SELF LOVE I don’t know about you but this week has been a little tough.

How do you look after yourself when life is tough? Do you find at these times- its when all the good you do for your body stops? Perhaps you start to loose momentum? Hard to see the point? I know that too well. It’s ironic though isn’t it? because that is when we need it the most. In fact you probably need to double it!

Here are some ways that I nurture myself when feeling flat. Perhaps some of these are already part of your routine, could you add more?

* Green smoothie (non- negotiable)

* Yoga and/or meditation daily

* Purchase or pick myself flowers

* Talk to a wise beautiful friends

* Epsom salt bath with Rose essential oil

* Early nights and fresh sheets

* Watch or swim in the ocean

But you know what worked best this time? Putting on my favourite music and whipping up these delicious hazelnut bliss balls. Tastes like heaven in your mouth!

The recipe contains hazelnuts which are high in magnesium, thus helpful in relaxing your nervous system and Cacao, an aphrodisiac, which tastes like a Ferrero Rocher.

Time to make: about 10minutes

Ingredients:

50g of melted coconut oil

6 dates (warmed in hot water to moisten)

1 and 1/2 cup raw hazelnuts ( ground in your food processor)

1 heaped tsp of cacao powder.

2 pinches of Sea Salt

Method:

Blitz all ingredients in food processor and roll into bite size balls.

Freeze in freezer for a healthy treat when needed during the week

Enjoy!
